This section provides information for the users of the Baseline system.

Web application

The most important part of the system is the user-facing web application running here:

https://baseline.dyn.cloud.trusted.e-infra.cz

To access the application, please contact us and we will set up your account. If you have a MUNI identity (<učo>@muni.cz), we will enable your sign-in via Masaryk University. Otherwise, we will create non-MUNI account which you will use for direct login.

Types of users

There are two types of users with straightforward definitions:

  • readers, and
  • writers

With read access, you will be able to see all data in the database, however, you will not be able to insert, delete or alter the data. For that, you will need the write access.

Main parts of the application

After successful login, you should land on the home page. At the moment the navigation bar provides only two sections with descriptive names:

  • Patients
  • Samples

Patients

This tabs shows the Patient Overview - a pseudonymized list of patients with basic information - diagnosis and it's dating, sex, last known status of the patient, and so on. With write access, you will also be able to insert, delete and modify patient records.

Clicking on a specific patient's ID will redirect you to the Patient Detail page where you can find all relevant information for this patient, such as:

  • full personal info
  • examination results (IGH, FISH)
  • therapies
  • samples

You will also find the patient's timeline which shows all time-based data for this patients. The timeline is zoomable.
